NEW YORK CITY TRIP REVIEW- my opinion of NYC shopping, attractions and everything else

So in November last year I visited NYC for the second time! and it was even better than the first time. On this trip we stayed right in Time Square at the Crowne Plaza and it was amazing!!! The hotel was opposite MnM world and two doors down from the Hershey shop! Basically I was in a piggy chocolate heaven.

The hotel was really nice, the staff and concierge were really friendly and helpful. I spent a few nights in the bar/restaurant skyping and video chatting with friends and family, the view of Time Square was perfect and so clear.

One of the days we were in NYC we decided to visit the top of the empire state building. We picked such a nice day to visit, it was sunny and not to cold, although the wind was crazy up the top of the observation deck. We went out of peek times so it only took us about 15 minutes to get to the top.

The 360 view at the top of the observation deck is probably the most amazing thing I have ever seen so far!
These are some of the photos I took up there:

On another day we did a hop on hop off bus trip. The bus ticket was $89 and allowed us to go to Brooklyn, to the flat iron building, around central park, and down to battery park to get the ferry to see the statue of liberty. It also allowed us to do a night tour but unfortunately  we didn't get a chance to do.

We then took a day to explore around Central park: we saw the John Lennon memorial, the ice skating rink from serendipity, the amazing fountains, the many, many squirrels and so much more! We went and had the most amazing lunch at the boat house, which also had an amazing view right on the pond!

One of the nights we decided to explore time square at night. We explored the shops, such as the disney store, american eagle and Forever 21 had about 456728 levels! We then discovered the famous spray paint artist and if you don't know who he is, go on
you tube right now. definitely one of the best things I bought!!!!!

The day we went to see the statue of liberty was probably the coldest day ever! I had to buy an I heart NYC jumper just to tolerate the ferry ride over there. We went onto liberty island and TBH i didn't think it was that amazing, i would have gotten the same experience just ridding past on the ferry.

The time of year that we visited NYC was even more magical as it was the holiday season. We were in New york for thanksgiving which was such a cool and amazing experience.
As well as NYC being completely decked out with christmas gear! The giant baubles, floating snowflakes, radio city Christmas tree and the Rockerfeller Christmas tree and iceskating rink.

For dinner almost every night we went to this old italian looking diner called mamma sbarro just opposite our hotel in time square. It had buffet style pastas and the most amazing American pizza I have ever had!

For any questions don't hesitate to ask! I will hopefully being uploading many more of my experiences and opinions on my favourite place in the world! (so far)

Until next time!! Bye bye friends :)
